If you follow me on Instagram(@Elsaa_xo), then you know that I recently went on a little splurge this past weekend. I've had my eye on the Selma since it first came out, and finally had the courage to buy it. Everything from the size, to the material, shape and color, make it the perfect classic and timeless collection item to add to my closet. 

Lucca Couture sweater weather

Apparently its been sweater week on the blog so I do apologize for the lack of diversity, but I seriously live in leggings and sweaters, life doesn't get more comfortable than that! This is probably my all time favorite sweater/cardigan. I am obsessed with the wine color, and the warm tones and geometric print make it that much more perfect. 

Turtleneck Sweater

The weather is finally getting a little cool in Cali! Don't get me wrong, I love that its always sunny, but I missed wearing sweaters and feeling cozy. Turtlenecks bring me memories of grade school, how my mom would force me to wear them, and I hated it because I felt like I was choking(dramatic I know). Well I still couldn't help myself, and purchased it, obsessing over the semi-crop look and blue pattern.

Coated Denim

These pictures were taken right after Christmas, and I had simply forgotten to post them. Lately, I've really been wanting to step out of my comfort zone, hence the graffiti spray painted tank top.  I got this denim jacket and coated jeans as a gift. They were both items I had been lusting over since they're so classic but edgy and versatile all at the same time! 

Grunge Plaid

I'm really loving the grunge-inspired casual look right now. Flannel shirts are always in style, and whether its layering or tying at the waist, they can literally be worn all year long.  I got these military inspired booties over a year ago (in every color), and I seriously am still obsessed with them!

LOVE and Kate Spade

While out doing some major retail therapy over the holidays, I ended up buying my first designer bag. It was kind of an impulse buy, but I don't regret it one bit! I've never really spent over $40 on a purse, but as my closet gets more cluttered, I've begun to think quality over quantity.

Cable Knit Sweater

Sweaters are probably my favorite item for fall and winter months. You get to feel cozy, warm, comfortable, and you don't have to worry about those extra lbs showing! The idea of an old-fashion knitted sweater used to kind of remind me of my grandma, but when paired with leather pants, a polka-dotted blouse, and suede booties, not so much.

I still can't believe another year has gone by!  A lot of people don't believe in that "New year, new me" and while I don't exactly see it that way either, I can't help but get a little excited and feel like its a fresh start and the best time to set goals. I for one am just so happy to be back to blogging. May this year be filled with health, happiness, success, and of course fabulous outfits.
