Today's outfit is all about mixing your basics. Its so simple to recreate this simple but chic outfit. Who doesn't own a button up blouse and black skirt? I adore the color of the blouse, it looks red on the pictures, but it's more of a burnt orange; my favorite color for fall season.

I know that it's technically still Summer, but my mindset is already in Fall. I kept this outfit simple, with a sheer floral button-up blouse and jeans. I wanted to make it all about the accessories, the handbag in particular. I love the neutral color, it is definitely going to be a staple in my closet.

End of Summer Nights

So sad to say, but Summer is officially over for me. I start classes tomorrow so this weekend was my last chance to really enjoy myself before my schedule gets hectic. Of course I had to have a night out, and I feel like this dress was the perfect way to end my Summer. Its soft color makes me look a lot tanner than I am, and I absolutely love it! I wanted to keep it neutral so I went with my nude pumps and added some color with my orange clutch.

Summer is coming to an end, and with that, our chances to wear short skirts and cute wedges are diminishing. So why not make the most of it and wear our favorite items before the season is over? This wrap-around skirt has been my favorite item this season, along with these wedges. What are some pieces you'll wear before Summer comes to an end?

Electric Blue!

Blazers can be so versatile, you can wear them all year round. They are most definitely a staple in my closet, to add that finishing touch to every look. So when I came across this blazer, I just knew I had to have it. I'm really picky about my blazers, the fit, and the material are very important to me. This one is perfect! I'm loving the double-breasted buttons and I'm obsessed with the color. Even though it is Summer and the heat in SoCal has been crazy lately, I decided to bring it out today in hopes of achieving a polished Summer look. By now you know how obsessed I am with mixing neon yellow and blue together. So it was no surprise that I paired this blue blazer with my neon yellow shorts.

Sunday Best

Sundays are most definitely my favorite day of the week. Its the one day you get to unwind, spend time with the family, and mentally prepare yourself for the week ahead of you. My typical Sunday consists of getting up early in the morning for Church, then we go out to lunch, do a little shopping, and then go home and watch movies for the rest of the day. And that's the one day we don't cook, so we always get takeout for dinner. What are some of your Sunday traditions?

A Jeans & T-shirt Kind of Day

I had a really busy day today that consisted of trips to the mechanic, doctor's office, and us postal service to ship some items. And I was able to squeeze in a quick shopping trip, that's always a plus and the perfect way to end my day. I wouldn't exactly call this a glamorous day, I was just trying to be as comfortable as possible while running all these errands. Which is why I opted for a simple pair of jeans and t shirt, okay well maybe not a tee, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing one, except for those dreaded school years of physical education. This is more of a cute little printed-hearts silk blouse with rolled up sleeves that can easily be dressed up or down.
